Planning an Adult Spring Break in Atlantic City

Whoever said that youth is wasted on the young was 100% right. As children, we couldn’t wait until we were older. Now that we’re older, we would give anything to be young again. As Spring Break is in full swing for college students across the country, we’re suddenly reminded of the better times of yesteryear. But who says the kids get to have all the fun? There’s no reason you can’t plan a fun adult-themed Spring Break of your own!

Many people don’t realize it, but Atlantic City is the perfect place to celebrate Spring Break without dealing with the crazy Spring Breakers you would find in warmer areas. It’s still a little cold during this time of year, but that doesn’t mean there isn’t a ton to do.

The Sights

You may notice that most of the boardwalk has shut down in the offseason, almost looking a little eerie. However, don’t let that deter you. Dating all the way back to 1870, the Atlantic City boardwalk is the most historic boardwalk in the country. From saltwater taffy to strutting the same paths as Marilyn Monroe and Frank Sinatra, you won’t want to miss the chance to see the historic Atlantic City Boardwalk for yourself. Besides, who wouldn’t want the opportunity to explore the real-life Monopoly board game? After you explore the boardwalk and check out the gorgeous views from every angle, you may want to snag one of the few Jersey shore homes for sale that you see along the way.

The Sounds

Can you hear that? That’s either the sound of your big payday at one of Atlantic City’s many casinos or the sweet sounds of The Playground. The Playground, formerly known as the Pier Shops at Caesars, is a 500,000 square foot complex that is dedicated to live music performances. Its influence is a hat tip to some of the most popular music cities in the US, including New Orleans and Nashville. In addition to this complex, Atlantic City has 7 casinos filled with bars, restaurants, live entertainment, and plenty of opportunities for you to win big!

The Food

Atlantic City is nothing short of spectacular when it comes to the food scene. Inside the world-famous casinos are some of the best restaurants from the most renowned chefs in the world. You can experience Guy Fieri’s Chophouse at Ballys or Gordon Ramsey’s Pub & Grill at Caesars. Margaritaville and Rainforest Café, are great options as well. If you want to experience food a little more local to the area, there are plenty of off boardwalk restaurants and pubs for you to try.

There is so much more to Atlantic City than meets the eye during the summer. So, take back your free time and enjoy an adult spring break of your own. Who knows, with plenty of homes for sale in Brigantine, NJ, right across the bridge from Atlantic City, the fun may never have to stop.
